About Me
I'm AJ, a Full-stack developer based in Calgary, Alberta. I Spent about eight years bouncing between Kamloops and Vancouver before landing here. I'm the type to just get shit done, the right way, not the lazy way. I like building things that are fast, clean, and actually useful. I sometimes lean on AI to move quicker and ship sharper because why wouldn't you.
When I'm not building I'm probably training BJJ, lifting, listening to music, or watching UFC. I keep things simple. Stay sharp, keep levelling up, don't overthink it.

Supported Shopify merchants globally on storefront, checkout, Liquid, payments, and app issues with consistently high CSAT using AI-assisted workflows. Built and shipped two internal tools during Shopify's 3-day Hack-days — one deployed across the entire advisor team. Onboarded new team members through AI-assisted workflows and tooling best practices.

My own business. Built furtraits.com from the ground up, a pet portrait brand selling digital and physical products. Handled the brand, storefront, checkout, and order flow myself. Currently running paid ads on TikTok, Meta, and Google to grow it.

Worked as part of a developer cohort for Chilly Moose, collaborating closely with another developer to design, build, and customize their Shopify storefront. Implemented theme customizations, optimized product pages, and contributed to overall storefront architecture and UX.
